The 2012 Downtown Irish Club Parade is set to be one of the biggest and best St. Patrick's Day parades in New Orleans.
The parade kicks off at the corner of Burgundy and Piety Streets in the Bywater neighborhood before traveling through Downtown New Orleans and ending on famous Bourbon Street in the French Quarter.
What can you expect? A massive St. Patrick's Day parade rife with hundreds of participants, awesome tosses, amazing, hand-crafted floats, and much more.
Expect potatoes, onions, carrots, and heads of cabbage to be tossed your way in the Irish tradition of tossing out all the ingredients for St. Patrick's Day cabbage soup.
