Event Details
The Irish Channel Parade is the longest standing St. Patrick's Day parade in the New Orleans area. Celebrate the parade's 65th year as it starts at St. Mary's Assumption Church (corner of Constance and Josephine Streets) in Downtown New Orleans.
The Irish Channel Parade then travels South on Jackson Avenue before turning East on St. Charles Street, going North on Louisiana Avenue, West on Magazine Street, and heading North to its ending destination at the intersection of Jackson Avenue and Camp Street.
The Irish Channel Parade celebrates everything great about Irish heritage in the heart of Downtown New Orleans with marching bands, great bead tosses, costumed revelers, and much more.
This family-friendly parade is a FREE event in New Orleans.
