Elmwood Gymnastics Academy

Elmwood Gymnastics Academy is associated with Ochsner Services. We offer classes from the age of walking up until teens. We have two team programs: Artistic and Tumbling.

Pre-school: We have four levels of pre-school classes for children ages walking to 6 years - Tiny Tots (walking through age 3; with parent participation), Jumpin' Jacks (3-4 years old), Munchkins (4-5 years old) and Kinder-Kiddies (5-6 years old). Children attend one class per week.


Recreational Girls Artistic Gymnastics: Classes for our school age gymnastics program are divided by skill level. Children generally attend one to two classes per week.

Our Artistic team is composed of five coaches and approximately 80 athletes. We are one of the top 2 teams in the state with our coaches receiving 2008/2009 Louisiana Coach of the Year. We have the largest upper-level optionals team in Louisiana. **Invite/ Try Outs Only**

Recreational Tumbling and Trampoline: Children in our tumbling program attend class once or twice a week. Our tumbling program is one of the finest in the state and includes a member of the USAG Elite National Coaching Staff.

Our Tumbling and Trampoline Team is composed of two coaches and approximately 40 athletes. We currently have 20 state champions and 2 competitors that went to the 2009 World T&T Championship. Our Director of the program is a previous Louisiana Coach of the Year. **Invite/ Try Outs Only**

Our aim is to keep the whole family fit by offering lots of options to keep you motivated, including a variety of classes for seniors and tons of fun activities for kids.
