John Curtis Christian School

John Curtis Christian School is a private, co-educational, affordable, Pre Kindergarten -12th grade, non-denominational Christian school. Located in the heart of River Ridge, Louisiana our campuses are easily accessible from the entire New Orleans metropolitan area. With Kenner to our West (5 minutes), Metairie to our North (5 minutes), New Orleans to our East (10 minutes) and the Westbank to our South (10 minutes) the school is an easy option for those looking for a school with the environment that we offer. With two separate campuses, just 1/4 of a mile apart, the Lower School houses our Pre K(2) - 6th graders. Our Upper School campus houses our 7th - 12th graders. Founded by the late John T. Curtis, Sr. in 1962, the school is now run by Mr. Curtis' five children who serve as the board of administration. Each child is very active in the school. John T. Curtis, Jr. is the school's headmaster. Deborah Curtis Eutsler is the Lower School Principal. Leon Curtis is the school's junior high principal. Kathy Curtis Rickner and Alicia Curtis Naccari are the schools junior high and senior high counselors, respectively. Mr. Curtis Sr.'s brother in law, Larry Manguno, is the school's upper school principal.
