Marc will discuss collecting and storing seed and some methods of propagating native wildflowers and grasses of Louisiana. He will touch on the requirements of specific species and will focus on those species that are hardest to grow. Marc Pastorek is an environmentalist with a deep interest in natural systems and their restoration and management. He is co-founder of Pastorek Habitats, a landscape design and consulting firm that specializes in restoring native grassland habitat. Marc is a contributor to the new book Southeastern Grasslands: Biodiversity, Ecology and Management, University of Alabama press. He and his wife Candi operate their business as partners and live and garden in Covington, Louisiana.
