Gentle yoga::
learning foundation of yoga poses, basic alignment of muscles and bones, and to help increase awareness of breath, using the breath to help deepen the body into poses. Class designed to help bring awareness to the body and its natural ranges of motion, to help introduce vinyasa to the body, and restorative poses at the end to help increase relaxation.
Level 1 class:: For beginners who are ready to step into faster paced class, still emphasizing on breath alignment of bones or and for the intermediate students who want to refresh their muscle memory and practice refining the postures.
Level 2 class::
Uses Vinyasa flow to help warm the body to help build up to a peak pose or a few peak poses, longer holds of poses are introduced to the body, faster paced class, use of props will help make poses more accessible to a beginner or it will help maintain alignment for a more intermediate to advanced student
My main influences are Iyengar, because I admire the way he taught with props and truly made yoga accessible to all people, and I like Astanga yoga because it is a very powerful practice and I feel drawn to its patterns and discipline, sequencing methods.
