SPHS Parent Involvement Team

Description

PURPOSE: To ensure lines of communication between home and school so that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the development of the child. To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for every child the highest advantages in physical, mental, and social education. To enrich the children's environment through volunteerism, cultural events, and special programs. To raise money to promote the best interests of the students and the school. All parents and guardians with children currently attending SPHS are automatically members, and are encouraged to attend meetings and participate. Volunteers are needed to help out with the PTSO's various fundraisers. The more supportive parents are, the more PTSO can accomplish.
